Satyameva Jayate 2 is unbearably jingoistic

It’s high octane jingoistic over the top patriotism chest, or should I say abs beater, drawing its flesh and blood from issues and dialogues that may give you an upset tummy, so rich is the platter thrust down your unsuspecting throat.
Corruption, vigilante cleaners, marginalised Muslim community, child trafficking and beggary cartel, privatisation of healthcare, faulty constructions, corporate corruption, political criminal nexus, women empowerment in politics, farmer poverty, Eve teasing, goondaism, rape — phew!

Did I forget anything? Is there anything else that the nation missed?

Well John Abraham — not one but two of them — take up the challenge to clean up on their collective 12 abs and so fervently rippling muscles that they give you motion sickness instead of an edge of the seat experience.
No less than the Home Minister himself is the safari karamchari here with his twin leading the law enforcers’ clean up mission.

I mean one understands John is desperate for hits but this desperate?

Really post pandemic, some gentleness is called for even if patriotism has to be served — and such a violent brand that all you can remember by the end of it is spurting blood streams and the sound of constantly cracking bones! Please at least just get Dolby sound accentuations out of the way if nothing else!!!

And the climax. OMG! nothing could have got so insanely dramatic and I wish John Abraham a speedy recovery from this experience.

Thankfully, the cinema hall was empty so the public is safe. After all the twin Johns have one last task. Bring down a chopper with their bare muscle! No wonder their mom stays in coma through the movie only to get up in the end and kick in whatever lunacy was left untapped till now.
