The best Sabudana recipe for Navratri

Navratri is here and we have got you sorted with an exotic Sabudaana recipe that you can prepare during your fast. So, let’s check out the ingredients.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sabudana
  • ½ cup peanuts (shelled and partially roasted)
  • 2 tablespoon ghee/refine
  • 1 teaspoon jeera 
  • 2 green chillies
  • 2 teaspoon sendha namak (rock salt)
  • 1 tablespoon dhaniya (coriander leaves)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

 

Method:

Step 1: Wash Sabudana and soak in 1 ½” of water for an hour. 

Step 2: Drain the water and let the sabudana dry on a muslin cloth for 20-25 minutes otherwise the sabudana will stick together and create lumps. 

Step 3: Heat the kadai and add 2 tablespoon of ghee and let it heat. 

Step 4: Add 1 teaspoon jeera and 2 green chillies sliced to the kadai. 

Step 5: Now add the sabudana along with peanuts and saute for 2 minutes. 

Step 6: Add 2 teaspoon of sendha namak and give it a mix. 

Step 7: Once the mixture becomes moist, add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and garnish it with some freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve.
